Shopping for a caterer could be a frustrating experience. Most catering companies in San Diego don’t post any pricing information on their website, encouraging you to call and talk to a sales person. At TOAST, our goal is to make your catering experience as easy and pleasant as possible. Pricing for our services widely depends on your choice of venue. Since we cook our food fresh on site, a kitchen setup is required if your venue does not offer any commercial kitchen. Our typical weddings usually range anywhere from $50 to $80 per person all inclusive (or sometimes more). Please note that the following price is for food only and does not include rentals (china, flatware, glassware, linens, chairs, tables, etc.) as well as labor cost (chefs, servers and bartenders), sales tax, etc. Click here to view our buffet menu and pricing.

Rentals & Labor Cost:
Rental cost is calculated on a case by case basis. It could depend on what your venue provides (if they do provide anything at all!) as well as your event needs. For a typical wedding, you should expect to pay from $16 to $25 per person (price calculated based on a 100 guest count wedding) for rentals. Rentals typically include tables, chairs, linens, napkins, glassware, flatware. Items such as a tent, dance floor, lighting, heaters, lounge furniture can be rented at additional cost. Plated dinner service usually increases the cost of rentals, since more china and flatware is being used. Most venues require that all rental items be picked up the night of the event. Rental companies in San Diego charge over $190 for late pick-up (after 10:00 pm).
 
Labor cost can also vary on the length of your event, how many guests you have, your bar needs and the type of service (buffet vs plated). You should expect to pay around $18/person for a formal plated dinner service (price calculated based on a 5 hour event for 100 guests).
