Our Story

Toast Catering is where the best of Southern California and the South of France come together, thanks to owners Kim and Sam. Kim, a San Diego native, brings a wealth of experience in retail and merchandising, including time at the Four Seasons Hotel.
It was there she discovered her passion for design and customer service. She has a knack for making spaces beautiful — whether it's décor or food stations.
Sam, born in Iran and a longtime resident of the South of France, moved to the U.S. after meeting and falling in love with Kim. His fondest childhood memories center around family gatherings filled with delicious food. What he loves most about catering is seeing smiles light up when people try his food — and the constant opportunity to learn and grow.
His deep exposure to diverse flavors is the backbone of our philosophy: a commitment to authentic, vibrant food. That philosophy is reflected in our eclectic menu, which celebrates culinary traditions from around the world.

Our philosophy is simple: prepare food primarily on-site, use the freshest ingredients available, and maintain a menu that stays both current and authentic.
